Tone Films

Tone Talent Agency and Tone Films are both owned by Andrei Tone. The agency represents the people in front of the camera. Tone Films is the director-led video production company that writes, directs, shoots, and finishes the work, across 31 U.S. cities in 13 states, from a Dallas headquarters.

If a brief needs a cast and a crew, you can get both from one conversation. This page explains what Tone Films makes, how the two companies work together on a shoot, and exactly where the line between them sits.

What Tone Films makes

Full-service video production handled in-house by a four-person core team: Andrei directs, David Parvu shoots and cuts, Grace shapes the story, Elias builds the home for the films online.

Brand films

Hero anchor films built around a story rather than a product spec. Usually the piece a brand leads with for a year or more.

Commercials

Broadcast-ready and digital-native spots, for Fortune 500 brands and emerging companies alike. The format that most often needs a cast.

Corporate video

Executive interviews, internal communications, training content, and recruiting films, where real people read better than models.

Live streaming & A/V

Hybrid event production, multi-cam livestreams, panel discussions, and full A/V support.

Event films

Multi-cam coverage and same-day social cutdowns for product launches, galas, and conferences.

Documentary

Long-form brand documentaries and nonprofit storytelling.

Shot on Sony cinema bodies (FX9, FX6, FX3) with DJI aerial under an FAA Part 107 licence, insured to $2M general liability. Every format is broken down on the Tone Films services page.

Booking cast and crew together

  1. Send one brief. Usage, dates, market, and rate range. Say that you need production as well as casting and it routes to both sides at once.
  2. One business day. You get a curated board from the agency and a fixed-fee production quote from Tone Films, not a database dump and not an hourly estimate.
  3. One shoot, two contracts. Andrei directs the production. The talent side is negotiated separately by a booker with independent authority, so the people on camera are represented by someone whose only job is representing them.
  4. Two to four weeks. Typical turnaround from kickoff to final cut: a week of pre-production, one or two shoot days, one to two weeks of edit, colour, and sound with two rounds of revisions.

Where Tone Films shoots

Thirty-one markets across thirteen states, each with local crew and local pricing, and most of them are markets the agency casts into as well. Dallas-Fort Worth is the office and licensed home base, and the Nashville board opens in 2026. Each city has its own page, and all 31 are linked from the Tone Films nationwide video production company page, which also covers how the crew travels beyond them.

Where the line sits

Ownership disclosure. Tone Talent Agency is under common ownership with Tone Films. Talent represented by the agency may be offered Tone Films bookings and may decline any such booking with no effect on their representation.

Tone Films bookings are negotiated by a booker with independent authority, are paid at or above our published rate card, and carry no agency commission.

You do not need representation to be cast in a Tone Films project. Tone Films casts from our boards and from open submissions, and submitting to the agency is free and open in every division. Read the rules we work by on our Standards page.
